What is a certified translation?
A translation accompanied by a signed and stamped statement confirming that it is complete and accurate. Depending on the authority, the translator's signature may also be certified by a notary.
What is the difference between an apostille and a legalisation?
An apostille is a single certificate valid in all member states of the Hague Convention. Countries outside the Convention require a legalisation chain ending with their embassy or consulate.
Why are your prices not published?
Prices depend on the document, the language pair, the certification required and the deadline. To avoid surprises, we give every client a fixed quote, free of charge.
Do you need my original documents?
For a quote and most translations, a clear scan or photo is enough. Some procedures, such as certified copies or certain apostilles, require originals; we tell you in advance.
How quickly can I get my documents?
Standard translations are usually ready within a few working days. Apostilles and legalisations depend on the authorities involved. Express service is available.
Do you work throughout Switzerland?
Yes. We serve clients in all 26 cantons by email, post and courier, and provide interpreters on site.
Can you get documents from my country of origin?
In many countries, yes. We can order civil status documents and extracts, then translate and certify them.
Can you provide an interpreter for our civil wedding?
Yes. Contact us as soon as you know the date so we can confirm an interpreter for your language combination.
How are my documents protected?
Documents are transmitted to our professional email system, accessed only by the people working on your file and deleted once they are no longer needed.
How can I pay?
Payment details are included with your quote. Companies and public bodies can pay by invoice.
